Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Lovecartography, at lovecartography.com and app.lovecartography.com. They're written to be read. Using the service means you agree to them.

The service

Lovecartography computes and displays astrocartography charts for individuals, couples, and groups, with written interpretations. It is a tool for exploring astrological patterns in geography. It describes patterns and tendencies — it does not predict the future, and it is not a substitute for professional advice on medical, financial, legal, relocation, or relationship decisions. Big decisions deserve more inputs than one map.

Your account

You must be at least 16 to create an account. You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, attempt to circumvent rate limits or paywalls, or use automation to scrape or mass-create charts.

Birth data about other people

Couple and group charts require other people's birth data. By entering birth data, you represent that you have the right to provide it — your own, or data about others that you are entitled to share. If someone asks us to remove their birth data, we will (see the privacy policy), and their participation in your charts may be anonymized as a result.

Subscriptions and purchases

Paid tiers renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime and keep access through the end of the billing period. Pricing, cancellation, pausing, and refunds are described on the pricing page and in the refund policy, which are part of these terms. The price you subscribe at remains yours while your subscription stays continuously active.

Your content, our service

You own the data you enter. You grant us the license needed to operate the service on it — computing charts, generating interpretations, storing and displaying them to you and the people you share them with. The service itself — software, design, interpretive text and reference content — belongs to us; don't republish it wholesale.

Sharing

Chart share links are view-only and revocable by the chart's owner. Anyone with a share link can see the chart it points to, so share accordingly.

Disclaimers and limits

The service is provided as-is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we don't warrant uninterrupted service or that any interpretation fits your circumstances. To the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, we'll email account holders before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that is acceptance of the new terms.
