Synastry
Synastry compares two natal charts directly: where one person's planets land relative to the other's, and the aspects formed between them. It describes the chemistry of a pairing — what each person activates in the other.
In astrocartography, location can amplify a synastry contact: a place where one partner's line runs close to a point that's hot in the couple's cross-aspects tends to turn the volume up on that part of the chemistry.
