Midheaven (MC)
The Midheaven (Medium Coeli) is where the ecliptic crosses the local meridian — the highest point a planet reaches in the sky. A planet's MC line marks where it was exactly culminating at your birth.
Near an MC line, the planet tends to express publicly: work, reputation, the role a place hands you. MC and IC lines depend on the meridian rather than the horizon, which makes them the least affected by an approximate birth time, though like every line they still need a time of day to be drawn.
