Ascendant (AC)
The Ascendant is the degree of the zodiac rising in the east at a given moment and place. On an astrocartography map, a planet's Ascendant line marks the places where that planet was exactly rising at your birth.
Near an AC line, the planet tends to express through how you come across and how you experience yourself day to day. Because the Ascendant moves roughly a degree every four minutes, AC lines are sensitive to birth-time accuracy.
